Electric Overhead Crane

  • Lower energy cost per lift; no diesel exhaust indoors
  • Requires runway beams, power feed, and civil CAPEX before first hook
  • Published lifting capacity and operating weight reactions for runway design
  • Preferred when the bay layout is stable for 10+ years

Diesel / Hybrid Mobile Crane

  • No runway pour; flexible boom length and slew for changing pads
  • Higher fuel OPEX; exhaust and noise limits outdoor or ventilated zones
  • Tip capacity at radius must be re-checked every pad move
  • Fit for temporary yards, bridge sets, and sites without rail class A/B

Known Limitations We Disclose Up Front

  1. Standard catalog spans stop at 40 m; longer girders need a custom structural package and longer Ex-Works lead time.
  2. High-ambient MEA outdoor gantries need derated electrics above 45 °C — not every indoor hoist package ports outdoors as-is.
  3. Salt-fog port RTGs pull rope and brake kits faster than indoor workshop cranes; hub stock assumes the local duty cycle stated at order.
  4. We do not quote tip-capacity-only charts as bay SWL; if a competitor sheet lists tip without full-radius SWL, ask for the ASME B30 load chart before comparing.
